Exploring Self-Analysis – Understanding Student's Perceptions, Reflections, and Growth
📌 Type: Action Research
📅 Year: 2025
✔ Implemented: Yes
📝 Findings:
Students' earliest happy memories wer
e associated with family bonding and fr
iendship, but some preferred being alo
ne. A notable number of students repor
ted diiculty concentrating due to stres
s, lack of sleep, and worry. Many studen
ts indicated they had neutral or distant
relationships with family and were ae
cted by major life changes like relocatio
n or school transfers. Sleep deprivation
was common, with most students sleep
ing only 5–6 hours a night. Emotional w
ellbeing varied, and students expressed
the need for someone to listen without
judgment. Despite achievements in ext
racurricular fields like sports, art, and
music, many students struggled emotio
nally and academically
📈 Impact:
Counselling sessions and student suppo
rt circles were introduced to address em
otional needs. Wellness programs and lif
e skills sessions improved emotional res
ilience. Students reported better focus, e
motional regulation, and increased moti
vation in class. Improved communicatio
n with parents and better student-teach
er rapport were observed. A significant i
mprovement was seen in academic perf
ormance and overall student wellbeing.

d and ineective teaching methods. Iss
ues like parental pressure, peer conflict
s, and relationship troubles impacted e
motional stability. Some students repor
ted depression, aggressive behavior, bo
dy shaming, and lack of individual atte
ntion. Digital distractions such as addic
tion to reels, social media, and online g
ames were reported. Hostel students co
mplained of fatigue, limited recreation,
and food quality issues. Although some
students had a positive mindset, for ot
hers it stemmed from emotional detach
ment or carelessness, not genuine wellbeing.
📈 Impact:
One-on-one counselling, vent-out space
s, and confidential support sessions wer
e organized. Mentorship programs conn
ected students with trusted sta mentor
s for academic and emotional guidance.
Stress management workshops and mot
ivational sessions were conducted regul
arly. Students displayed increased emoti
onal stability, better classroom participa
tion, and improved academic outcomes.
Digital wellness programs helped reduce
dependency on gadgets, improving time
management and focus.
